Gemma used to work with a few Chinese online ESL companies, such as Palfish, Tutor ABC, Itutor group, English First. Now she is running her own teaching business, offering group coaching, and charging over $100 an hour for one-on-ones and $200 - $300 an hour for groups.

Over the past 16 years, as a traditional teacher, Nicola worked with many online and offline companies/schools and taught general English at all levels. She wanted a change and joined the 21-Day Challenge. She is now getting 4-5 students every month and charge > $90 an hour.

Before the 21-Day Challenge, Grant had spent months trying to launch his own teaching business but was struggling to find students, was making less than $2K/month, and was about ready to give up. With the support from James, Grant made about $60K in 2020, $100K in 2021, and is on track to make >$150K in 2022.

Within the first 6 months after Robbie graduated from the 21-Day Challenge, he was able to double his monthly income working independently as a teacher entrepreneur. In one year, he got 44 students and increased his price to > $100 for one-on-one teaching and > $200 for group teaching.

Richard started his teaching business in January 2022 after completing the 21-Day Challenge. He got 39 students in 2022 and increased his rate to $1000 / student for his 3:1 groups and $1200/student for one-on-ones. Now he's getting >5 students every month consistently and preparing for digital courses. 

Lesley used to teach students from China from ages 4 to 12 years old. She joined the 21-Day Challenge to start her own teaching business. Now she is helping quality assurance professionals to improve their English communication and writing and charging over $100 an hour teaching online.

John is one of the school teachers whose teaching career was impacted by COVID. He had to find other ways to continue teaching and supporting his family. He joined the 21-Day Challenge and found a teaching niche that he was passionate about. Since then, he is getting students every month at 3-4 times his previous rate.

Daniel used to teach at a university and left his job in 2021. He joined the 21-Day Challenge in December 2021 and got 15 students at about $850 USD in January 2022. It is not usual for teachers to get such massive results early in their journey, but Daniel made it happen by working hard and implementing what he has learned. 

Jordan increased his rate to $1200 per student and is getting students every week. However he struggled a lot at first and didn't get the results he expected. He didn't quit or compare himself with others. Instead, he worked on his mindset and concentrated on the transformation from teacher to teacher-entrepreneur.

Tara picked lawyers as her niche but she didn’t know anything about lawyers at first. Just like many teachers, she had doubts and concerns. She thought about quitting but she didn’t. She pushed herself through it, taught over 50 lawyer clients in the past 2 years, and increased her hourly rate to $120. 

For the past 2 years, Rachel has grown her online teaching business from offering one-on-one coaching at 1000 pounds per student with her 10-week program to offering corporates group coaching and selling digital courses with paid advertising to generate passive income

Lii is able to get more students every month, increase her price and, most importantly, enjoy her business because she finally discovered her own voice in her business and realized that she can be herself and only works with students who appreciate the authentic Lii

Hannah has been an ESL teacher for 12 years working for language schools. She decided to go independent in Feb 2021 but had tremendous challenges in social media posting. Luckily, after 1 year and a half, she has managed to overcome these challenges and increased her rate to $100 /hr.

Polly has been a traditional ESL teacher and examiner for almost 15 years. She hit rock bottom in her business earlier this year when she wasn’t able to get any clients for 3 months. She found ways to tackle her doubts and got 9 students after that very quickly at over $100 an hour.

Last year, Debbie left her full time job of 12 years at a middle school and started her own teaching business specializing in helping Italian speakers. She has begun working with 23 new clients in just the past year alone and recently increased her rate to $100 an hour.
