While I’ve never been a teacher, my gratitude for teachers is immense. Teachers have been a significant part of my success throughout my education and career in China and the USA. Seeing the challenges and underappreciation faced by teachers worldwide, I committed to empowering teachers to achieve the financial prosperity they deserve.

As a child, I loved playing teacher, a passion that persisted even after studying translation. Becoming a teacher was exciting, but low pay and underappreciation, especially as a non-native English teacher, took their toll.
The decision to go independent and a pivotal realization that shifting my mindset was the key to success revolutionized my career. Now, as a growth and mindset coach, I empower teachers and educators to be respected, valued, and better compensated.

The 2020 pandemic cut short my 8-year teaching career. Transitioning to online teaching was tough. After nine months of working independently, I found myself with just a handful of students, limited earnings, and moving back home with my parents was looking increasingly likely. I realised that being a good teacher alone wasn’t enough, so I took a deep dive into the realms of marketing and sales. Plugging my gaps in these areas opened new opportunities. Gradually, my teaching business started to take off, I moved abroad and gained my financial independence from schools and companies that didn’t value me.
In 2022, I teamed up with Bowei Strategy and made it my mission to help as many teachers as possible bridge their gaps in marketing and sales so they can have more freedom, impact and success doing the job we love.
I’ve always loved organizing and all things stationery but let’s face it, in this digital age it’s a long way from paperclips and filing cabinets.
As a Tech Coach and Systems Advisor, my passion is to transform chaos into order by simplifying technologies and processes into easy to follow step by step instructions for online teachers.
