The Teacher-Entrepreneur 21-Day Challenge condenses a huge amount of incredibly valuable information, ideas, and practical exercises with real-world applications in order to kick-start your journey to having an online niche teaching business. As well as workshops on how to use up-to-date tech such as AI, social media platforms, CRM software, KPIs, etc., for me some of the most important aspects were the mindset sessions. As a teacher who is accustomed to using a whiteboard and marker pen, modern digital technologies often seem to be an obstacle to me - in reality the biggest obstacle is your own thinking that you can't do it! James takes you step-by-step through so many things (market research, sales, marketing, harnessing AI etc.) that you realize not only can you do it, but that you are doing it! It is a challenge to keep up with the daily tasks, especially if you're working full-time like me, but by the end of the course you'll be wanting more. 100% recommended

The 21-day challenge was indeed challenging and worth taking pains (at times) to re-set my frame of mind about becoming a teacher-entrepreneur. I learned about and applied the tools needed to build a small teaching business during the 3 weeks. The course is intense in some respects, but it is complete. I recommend it, but if I were to quantify the experience, I now know that my effort to take action and create business make up about 80%; the other 20% was the materials. The 21-Day Teacher-Entrepreneur Challenge provided a very clear roadmap for TEs to follow to begin building their online coaching business. What I especially appreciated was the pacing of it and the fact that each day provided enough training and tasks to feel substantial but not so much that it felt overwhelming. The messaging was clear and the WhatsApp community aspect helped me feel like I wasn't doing the process alone. For those who are new to the TE life, this challenge is a perfect jumpstart to your business journey. It helps you set up the habits and mindset you need to go the distance.

I found the Teacher-Entrepreneur beneficial because all the tasks and training were organised and delivered in an easily digestible way. There was also a checklist I could complete as I progressed through the challenge to keep track of my progress, which helped me maintain my momentum. Furthermore, I was placed in a group chat with other people who were also doing the challenge for November. It was nice to know that I was part of a community during the challenge and not on my own. The video sessions also enabled me to see everyone, which added to the community feel.

On a another note, I particularly liked how Chat GPT was integrated into the challenge. I learnt how to use James's prompts to gain clarity on which niche to focus on, find out more about my chosen niche and create personal and niche challenge posts. Creating posts had been a great agony for me but after James explained how Chat GPT could be effectively used to make the whole process more time efficient, I became more confident that I could post regularly without wasting hours in the process.

Overall, I think the challenge makes the transition from teacher to teacher-entrepreneur very manageable. The tips and insights given are not overwhelming or irrelevant. It presents tried and tested methods that yield results when followed consistently.

It is astounding how much James and Stefy pack into just 21 days! It's as though they are mind readers, so well do they know the challenges we face as Teacher-Entrepreneurs. Do not hesitate to sign up - even if - or maybe ESPECIALLY if - like me, it is your second time. The challenge has been revamped and it is so much easier on the stress levels than the original. This time, carefully crafted Chat-GPT prompts cut through the overwhelming amount of information out there, giving you focus, speed and momentum.

By the end, you will have identified a niche (even if you're not sure it's the right one for you yet); you will have a sales script and strategies to search for your students plus a sample contract; you will understand the importance of keeping KPIs and a simple CRM from the start (using downloadable templates). You will update your LinkedIn profile, create diverse posts and you will have drafted several mini-programs for your niche, taking away the worry about putting course materials together when you get started.

Pre-challenge preparation includes a video in which Stefy introduces 5 practical mindset tips for T-Es, for example, and orientation around the course materials, plus tech set up if you need it. This is where you will find the group's daily progress tracker sheet, too, which holds you accountable for completing tasks. Most days of the challenge involve a short video (lots of mindset work), followed by a training video and actionable steps. I found the mindset videos incredibly powerful; they cover topics such as imposter syndrome, moving on and adapting when you fail, and shifting your mindset to that of a T-E. My tip would be to watch those several times if you have a perfectionist mindset.

Outside the challenge material is a huge support system, too, with a group WhatsApp and Clarice taking care of the admin. I honestly cannot think of anything I would change about this challenge; it is absolute GOLD. Beyond the challenge, I have to say that I have never in my life come across support like that of the Bowei team; they never give up on you, even if you nearly give up on yourself. Thank you.

I loved the 21 day challenge because I was able to make the idea for my legal English business more concrete.

I learned so much from this 21-day challenge! The challenge deals a lot with mindset, but the fact is that this is something we as ESL teachers do need help with. I appreciate the fact that we are helped to grow and become better teachers (specialists in one field), and this means we become qualified to charge more. It's not just - you're a teacher you should be charging $100 per hour. No - the course helped me see how I can improve to the point where I can confidently charge this.

What I found most helpful were the practical steps given in the daily video tutorials, which helped me narrow down my niche and focus on getting my business off the ground. Having Steffy and other mentors available for extra sessions and workshops is a bonus.
I was able to get my LinkedIn network going and growing and even had one strategy Zoom call from someone from my niche, in the second week.

The Teacher-Entrepreneur Challenge is such a great investment. In three weeks, my mindset has completely changed in terms of what I believe my skills are worth. Each day's task builds on the previous one in a very incremental and manageable way. If you can dedicate an hour every day to it, and you don't let the tasks pile up, you won't get overwhelmed. The support that you get from the community of other teachers on the challenge creates a very positive atmosphere in which you celebrate each other's successes and help each other every step of the way. I couldn't recommend it highly enough.

This this a motivating challenge which helps burgeoning entrepreneur teachers on their way toward more independence and self-sustaining business. What I particularly enjoyed and found most helpful were the worksheets and videos helping me hone my own specialization. This in turn enables me to assist a specific group of people in a way that adds value to their lives. Because of this, my students are willing to compensate what I offer at a higher rate.

I undertook the challenge as sort of bolstering behind me as I continue to build my business. While many teachers will find value in the social media information, copywriting and sales skills, I found a lot of helpful support in fine-tuning my niche messaging. It's about knowing your worth as a teacher, finding a specialization that values that worth, and making sure your clients can find you.

This type of challenge would be a good fit for any budding startup - not simply teachers. There are great networking opportunities, walk-throughs of basic concepts, and several live (and recorded) Q and As. If you want a solid crash course on establishing a niche, making sure you aren't underpricing yourself, and finding a clientele that values your services - I think this could be for you! Good luck ~

I enjoyed the T-E Challenge. I'm fairy well established already but it was still very helpful, more than I had envisagedl. Lots of interesting and useful information and short cuts that are going to save me HOURS and therefore money! I especially liked the Linkedin Marketting sessions. Learning about the overally strategy was very insightful. A challenge that I'd been having a lot of difficulty with was Mindset. So I especially appreciated the videos and the fact that it was overall, threaded throughout the content. Well done James & Stefy, excellent!
