I loved how this 21-Day Challenge differed from other online business coaching courses by being geared specifically towards the needs of ESL teachers. It was extremely well structured, and James was able to break down complex ideas into simple, easy to follow steps. We were able to take incremental actions each day to reach a series of mini-milestones within a short time. He also helped us to step out of our comfort zone to develop an entrepreneur mindset. Thank you James, for helping us to realize that we can get paid for what we are worth, and at the same time help to change the lives of our students.

The Teacher Entrepreneur Challenge (June 2020) was full of helpful hints and tips as well as being a practical, but challenging "course". There were one or two places, especially at the beginning where I felt that some practical help might have been given, for instance, "research the market and identify urgent problems you can identify with" left me wondering where and how. In the marketing session, a lot was made of the 30 minutes free strategy session - and throughout the course, the word "script" was used often. However, that cannot be accessed until the end, when you either earn Bonus 2 (or buy it at a greatly reduced rate). I personally found it very offputting to be offering such a thing without even the hint of a script, and this was the only major failing in the course (in my opinion). Otherwise the practical advice and examples on marketing, sales, FB and LinkedIn were indispensable. But probably the best thing about the course was James himself - wise, calm, humorous, practical and encouraging.

I just finished the 21-Day Challenge and can’t say enough good things about it. If you are thinking about taking the Challenge, then maybe this review will help you a little.
I had first read James’ free e-book and got a lot of information from it. I figured I could implement his tips and strategies from his e-book and just go from there.
But then after thinking about it, I decided to just do the Challenge. The cost wasn’t much and if I could learn one extra tip or strategy that could help me, then it’d be worth it.
And am I glad I did.
James walks you step by step of what exactly to do. He covers the information thoroughly and I really didn’t have that many questions. But when I did, he answered them during the course.
What's important to know is that there is so much more information in the Challenge that isn’t covered in the book.
Plus, James genuinely wants to help you. You can honestly feel that he’s there to help you succeed.
So if you’re like me and want someone to walk you through step by step, then this course is for you.
I know there are a lot of naysayers out there telling us that ESL teachers can’t make much money, but this shows how you absolutely can do it.
So if you’re on the fence, I want to say just go for it. Just do it. I promise you will gain a lot of wisdom that you can apply in many business aspects, not just as a teacher-entrepreneur.

This was the best entrepreneurship training that I have ever attended. James was very knowledgeable and supportive teacher. He takes beyond and above for everything to offer the latest marketing tips.

Participating in this challenge is a great experience. At the very beginning, you will learn how to define your niche. Afterwards, you develop a message and a program. The challenge has brough so much clarity that I had never imagined possible. It made me reflect on my motivations and targets again and again and pushed me to try a completely new approach. I am ever so thankful that James held me accountable and never let my hand go, whilst I was overcoming decades of ingrained bad habits and fear of sales and marketing. I felt as if he was reading my mind as he threw the mindset videos in just at the right time-hitting home every time. This challenge is a MUST for every teacher. I can only say, I'll never be the same again-and in a good way. If you are reading this and still hesitant, consider this: you will have a pre-James Liu life and a post-James Liu life and will enjoy the latter more! Take the Challenge!

I've just completed the May challenge and I couldn't be happier. It gave me direction and inspiration, the programme is extremely well structured and tailored in such a way that for all the questions that you might have, James is a step ahead and the answers are there waiting for you. In the same time, you are always supported and James is always present to walk you through any difficulty. As a result, now I have a clear vision and a solid plan for my online teaching business.

James is patient and genuine with his training. I benefitted tremendously from his training. During the Challenge, I found out that my daughters have dyslexia and started training to become a dyslexia tutor to help my girls. I eventually realized that I couldn't do both. Very good, personable approach to coaching by James. Daily videos, posts and emails were motivating. Slightly hard to keep up on the second week due to other work commitments but I managed to finish. Very good foundation for setting up an online teacher-entrepreneur business. Definitely recommended!
