Also, I appreciated James's approach in providing step-by-step guidance on how to move toward a 6-figure income as a Teacher-Entrepreneur. Finally, it was great connecting with other people who participated in the challenge.

My name is Barbara from Coventry, UK. I've just completed James's September 21-day Teacher Entrepreneur Challenge. I found it extremely enlightening. It opened my eyes to new ways of attracting clients/students, providing them with 'solutions' to their English Lanuage problems, the 'results' they require to 'fulfil' their dreams. Ebcouraged me how to change my mindset regarding teaching and sales.
Unlike other courses, we didn't just get a snippet for our money, wr got the full "100", no gimmick.
Well worth the price. I would reccommend this course to anyone who want to take their business to a higher level.

While I got what I wanted from the challenge in the form of being able to talk about my lessons as a program, I would not recommend this course to those who are just starting out on the journey. The method of cold contacting that James teaches does not line up with my values. For the sake of the course, I decided to follow his program, and landed - along with other participants - in "LinkedIn jail" as a result. The strategies he teaches with regards to pricing and scaling seem very "do as I say and not as I do" and aren't in line with recommendations from other well-known and well-established business experts. Too much of the course is devoted to setting up the need for another one of his courses, and the last few days of the challenge were dedicated to promoting another course. In addition, the majority of the graduation training (and I use the word "training" lightly) was a high pressure sales pitch for yet another course to be taken with him. When combined with his earlier sales tactics, it left me feeling rather icky and questioning James's motivation for the challenge itself.

James started contacting me in April, but it took me until September to do the Challenge. I wish I had not waited so long. The course is WONDERFUL! James leads you through, step-by-step, giving you the practical tools and emotional encouragement to think like a teacher-entrepreneur and build a business. His expertise, intelligence and compassion come through every day in every lesson. I am so grateful.

When I decided to teach English as foreign language online, I still thought of myself as a teacher and I had no idea how to market myself. I am so glad that I decided to take the plunge and complete James' course in becoming a Teacher-entrepreneur. He has covered everything I could possibly need from content to marketing to dealing with day to day practicalities of running a business. I really admire his professionalism, which is matched by his strong understanding of his clients and his niche. He has provided an amazing example of how one can be a personal and financial success in the online teaching industry. He has taught me to have faith that I can be a success too in my chosen niche. The Teacher Entrepreneur Challenge was definitely the guidance I needed to start moving in the right direction. I was already very motivated, had lots of ideas, but I had no idea how to implement them or even where to start. I highly recommend James and his challenge to anyone who either needs motivation or a solid place to start from on your journey to becoming independent. I was fortunate enough during the challenge (weeks 2 and 3) to secure 3 Strategy Sessions, and I even managed to sell 2 3-month courses from them! I So, believe in yourself! You can do it too. I have found the Teacher Entrepreneur Challenge to be extremely beneficial and rewarding.
Throughout the course, my realisation for the need to look for niche teaching and a change in mindset has grown exponentially. Rather than spreading my teaching experience across a wide range of student types, I am now far more focused on my objectives. I am now also adjusting my social media presence, website, and SEO with specific niche markets in mind.
The procedures as laid out by James are easy to follow and clear in their delivery. I would recommend anybody interested in becoming a niche-specific teacher to sign up for this course.

I highly recommend the Teacher-Entrepreneur Challenge. It came at just the right time for me. I was fed up with being paid a pittance for teaching ESL online and being treated as if my skills and experience as a teacher have little value. James changed all this. The Challenge has been a steep learning curve in places but James goes through everything step-by-step to build a crystal clear picture of how to build a successful and highly lucrative career as an online English teacher. The real transformation for me has been the change of mindset James brings about. I think overall the program is well structured. James does not over complicate things and provides clear steps to take to become a teacher-entrepreneur!

I'm giving this course 5 stars, because of the sheer value for money. While being highly experienced and professional as an ELICOS educator, I had zero business skills. Of particular value to me, was the detailed information about how to use social media platforms to make the right connections, and deliver the right messages. Every step was supported and scaffolded with videos and Google sheets, so although I had to work hard, I knew exactly what to do every day, step by step. James is knowledgeable, and you also end up with a group of other teachers on the same journey to support you when the course ends. I would highly recommend this approach.

I am so thankful to James for inventing the Teacher-Entrepreneur Challenge and for providing an opportunity to continue working with him after the Challenge. I hope that one day soon, I will be able to say that James made a huge difference in my life because he will have been instrumental in helping me achieve the goal of having my work financially support me and my family. This is still my dream, and I’m working as hard as I can to realize it. Despite decades of earning advanced degrees and giving my all working as a teacher, I have never been able to financially support myself. This was not as much of an issue when there was a second income in my household, but now that income is gone. I cried when I watched the video in which James described sales as our chance to share our gifts to the world. It’s true. I’ve helped SO MANY students. I know without a doubt that I’m a good teacher. I helped my institution maintain their good name, and I was compensated for only about 30% of my work and for NONE of my value that experience, skill, and long hours of necessary work outside the classroom. .Now I have a chance to be compensated fairly. Now I can learn about marketing and sales from someone who knows a lot about those areas and someone who really CARES whether I succeed or not. I trust James’ word when he says that one big reason why he does this work is that he’s giving back and supporting teachers like those who helped him establish a new life and a rewarding career in an English-speaking country and international community. James displays his integrity with every interaction I’ve ever had with him. Every day, when I go through a list of people, events, things, etc. that I am thankful for, James and his Challenge and subsequent program make it on to my list.
