I had a great experience! It was a real eye opener! I am very insecure, especially when it comes down to having to charge money for my services, but James made me realise that we are actually changing the life's person in a better way, we are inspiring people, so what we charge is exactly what we deserve! I learnt a lot about sales and marketing, and it was really surprising! There is no other way to describe it: it was an amazing venture! I certainly recommend plunging into it!!!

I thoroughly enjoyed the Challenge and learned an awful lot in a short space of time. The Challenge is delivered in manageable chunks so you have time to absorb the information before moving on to the next part. I never thought I would have the courage to do this, but the encouragement from James and the others in the Facebook group has really convinced me that I can do it. Taking part in the Teacher-Entrepreneur Challenge was one of the best decisions I have ever made. The challenge opened up possibilities I had never considered. For example, teaching English within my niche and, at the same time, earning a good income; and even enjoying marketing and sales. Before the challenge, my biggest block to having a successful business was having to talk to clients about money. However, the challenge addressed that, and changed my mindset. As soon as I looked at my business from the viewpoint of delivering a service helping people improve their English, talking about money became much easier.

The challenge is very comprehensive . There is a lot of information and learning packed into the 3 weeks. You can go at your own pace, however and there is never any pressure.

The lynchpin of the course is James himself. He is always on hand, usually via videos and Facebook, for guidance and support. it's a step-by-step approach with each day's learning building on the one before. Every challenge also has its own Facebook page for the participants to communicate and help each other. It wasn't just a challenge or a course, it was a community.

If you are a teacher or coach and you want to help non-English-speakers improve their English, I recommend taking the 21-day challenge. Not only will it uncover skills you didn't know you had, but it will open up new opportunities and, if you do the work, expand your business to new levels.

Review of the Teacher Entrepreneur Challenge – November 2020 Cohort.

I am a recently retired teacher with 25 years’ experience- both as a teacher and a senior leader. I have worked in the UK’s leading state and international schools, where I taught a wide range of non-native speakers the subject of engineering.

This Challenge was inspirational from day 1. It contained a small percentage of information that I already knew, and a similar small percentage of information that I had once known but had forgotten. However, a large percentage of this course fell into the ‘I didn’t realise that I needed to know that’ category, and that is where its true value became apparent.

You may be considering taking this challenge from a position of limited experience: do not let this discourage you. James will often tell you that he is not a teacher, but I can confirm that he is an outstanding teacher. He has a very warm personality and the human touch, which helps to bring out the best in his students. You can work through this programme at your own pace, and you can be confident that James and your peers will always support you and answer your questions.

In 25 years of teaching, you can imagine how many courses I have taken throughout my professional career. As a Yorkshire man, I am not predisposed to heaping praise on others, and in that context, I can tell you that this is the best course I have ever taken.

What an amazing 21 day journey in the company of James and his team and a wonderful bunch of other participants. I had no experience as an ESL teacher compared with the majority of other participants, and hence it was a giant leap into the unknown. However, at the end of the challenge I have acquired the necessary skills to make the next giant leap into the world of business as a niche teacher. This would not have been possible without James. The challenge program is logically structured to guide one along the way, and James is always around to assist. The confidence and change in mindset that James instills is of paramount importance to succeed. James plays many roles in this challenge inter alia as a teacher, mentor, and friend. I was quite surprised by his prompt response to messages and emails which highlights his commitment to this challenge. From the very first moment, everything has been clearly presented and accessible. You have made me challenge myself and I love that. We didn't know it at the start but we were putting together a huge and clever jigsaw that will help us soar in our careers and our lives. I have talked about nothing else with family and friends. All of the information given about finding a niche and creating a program was very useful to me. The marketing and sales units were useful but I would have liked to spend more time on how to write good copy that generates leads and sales as well as paid marketing and funnels. I am technically savvy and have a few years of experience teaching online. So for me all of the technical training sessions were not useful.

I am currently doing the November 21-day Teacher-Entrepreneur Challenge and I am nearing the end of the Challenge.

I can’t speak highly enough about it. I feel so inspired. I have learnt a huge amount in a very short time. James has given me all the tools to start my own coaching business online, and I feel very confident about marketing my business now.
