I LOVE the Challenge, it really reached my expectations. Empowering mindset advice was of a great need, mainly because of being a non-native, living in a non-English speaking country,
suddenly appearing among such great community of native speakers! Also great strategy input and marketing training. I was finally "pushed" to build my LinkedIn profile, Facebook page and group, added some posts and even made a "quantum leap" - recorded a video! I devoted a big part of my summer holiday to the Challenge but it was definitely worthy doing. And I keep going. Thanks, James and the Team!

My experience with Teacher-Entrepreneur Challenge was extremely enjoyable and I am very grateful to James for this opportunity. He designed a well-structured, easy to follow and practical course which is helpful for any teacher of English, especially for those who are not quite familiar with things like technology, marketing or sales. I particularly liked the fact that I could attend it in my own pace, and benefited from a prompt response for all my concerns from a very supportive team. Thank you, sometimes it has been a difficult journey but I think it was worth it.

I would recommend the Challenge to any ESL teacher who wants to start their own business. It deserves a 10 star recommendation! It’s been a fantastic experience. I’ve learned so much in such a short time. With the constant call to action I have made more progress than ever before. There is a real shift in attitude because you are carefully guided to the next step. The process is broken down into manageable, achievable stages and with the notes and support of the whole group you see people just like you move through the process and you too make the leap.

I found the challenge enlightening and very enjoyable. The lessons and assignments are mostly well-planned and make sense - even to a rookie in the business world. After seeing a video by James where he described the rookie way of doing business, (I'll teach you.- OK, how much do you charge?) I realised that something is seriously wrong with such an approach, yet could not tell what it was. After completing the assignments, I can see why this approach will never work.
I would like to suggest easing the learning curve in Week 2 slightly, by perhaps letting the students do some of the preparation in Week 1 already. Although I already had a LinkedIn account before the challenge, and also had a fairly good idea about how filters and databases work on such a platform, it was still a lot to finish properly. The problems start when you get connect requests etc. from colleagues in the challenge group and you have to keep those up to date while updating information and doing searches.
Nevertheless, it was a worthwhile and interesting experience.

I would like to start my review by saying that The Teacher-Entrepreneur Challenge is simply fantastic!
James' program was recommended to me by my former teachers, and when I read his E-book, It resonated with me so much that I knew The Teacher-Entrepreneur Challenge was exactly what I needed.

I have been teaching for a very long time but ESL teaching for only 6 months, and I really wanted to know how I could become independent-well James had all the answers for me! He breaks everything down and tells you, in bite-sized pieces, what you need to do and in what order. That includes finding your niche, building your business foundation, marketing, sales and much more. The support from James and his team is lightening fast and very helpful. I especially loved the Mindset videos on different internal battles that many teachers go through when they transition from ESL general teachers to teach entrepreneurs.

The Teacher-Entrepreneur Challenge is intense, and I do not mean that lightly. You need to be committed and trust the process by not thinking ahead of what James teaches each day. James is a very educated man, and he is passionate about what he does and is extremely driven. He seems to come from a perspective that many people are unaware of- a higher level if you will. You need to align to his 'wavelength' in order to do well in The Challenge.
Do not expect overnight success though, you need to be ready to invest time, energy and patience. However the information James gives is invaluable and absolutely worth the money!

Would I recommend The Teacher-Entrepreneur 21 Day Challenge? Definitely! Go for it-you have nothing to loose and so much to gain.

The 21-day Teacher-Entrepreneur Challenge with James was AMAZING! I wasn't sure if this was what I needed, but it far exceeded my expectations! I have been a teacher for twelve years--the last five as an online ESL teacher. As many would agree, the pay and work environment has been going downhill for the past few years in this industry.

I have been wanting to go out on my own, but I wasn't sure how to do it, or where to start. I really love teaching, but I knew venturing on my own would also include marketing myself and doing sales. I had no clue how to do this, and quite frankly, it scared me to death. I would need to learn how to use social media--I didn't even have Facebook or LinkedIn accounts.

I decided to take the plunge and go through the '21-Day Teacher-Entrepreneur Challenge'.

Right from the beginning, James assures you that he is with you and that you CAN do this! He breaks things down into small, doable chunks. Each day, you continue build on the foundation he has helped you build.

To me, one of the most valuable takeaways from this course was the 'Mindset Shift' he provided for me. James realizes that sometimes we need to get past ourselves before we can make advancement. He knows exactly what you need at the right time. (Some of the mindset videos have even helped me in other areas of life--haha)

James' course is worth many times more than the investment. Also, the community you become part of is invaluable (your Challenge group).

This is not only James' business--he has a real desire to see each and every participant succeed. Even though there are still things abut becoming a 'Teacher-Entrepreneur' that make me nervous, I trust James and know that the system he has set up works!

A great program. I learned a lot about how things work on social media, how to structure your ideas, how marketing and selling works. I also met great people. But I think the most valuable part is that it changes your mindset.

I waited a long time before I made the decision to do the challenge. I really wish that I had made the decision earlier. This program is the ultimate model upon which we should mirror our own niche business. I learned that that there isn't ONE thing that's going to make independent teaching/coaching successful. It's a blend of a feasible niche, a powerful message, a well-structured program, marketing and sales knowledge/implementation, and confidence! James' Challenge taught me that targeting all of these is an evolutionary process. Even if someone is considering taking the Challenge just to learn the ins-and-outs of using LinkedIn and other tools to market their independent teaching business, the reasonable cost of taking the Challenge is worth it. They will learn much more and in the company of other like-minded teachers and professionals.

I have just complete the 21 day entrepreneur challenge and I can't recommend it enough. Before I signed up for the challenge, I had spent several months browsing different online marketing courses for ESL teachers and hadn't felt that any of them were right for me. When I heard about James' course, I signed up within a matter of days. I am so glad I did. The course is so much value for money. I got so much out of it and James is really genuine, supportive and helpful. He understands English teachers' worth and he want to help us get paid what we deserve. Not only did I learn a lot, I connected with some really great people on the challenge. Now I'm really excited to put everything I've learnt into practice. I'm going to be recommending the challenge to all my former teaching colleagues at my last school.

This was a great program to jumpstart my career as freelance teacher. I found Week 1 to be the most valuable, however I hoped that Week 2 would cover other social media mediums such as Instagram. However, I found at least some of the concepts from each Week to be applicable to my niche and so appreciated each step of the program.

Teacher-Entrepreneur Challenge was a fantastic experience for me! Every day you receive a video from James with instructions to complete your daily tasks. I liked that all your work is divided into small doable steps. Mindset videos are also very motivating. James, his team, and the community are always online to support anyone who needs it. I believe that this challenge is particularly useful for teachers and coaches without a marketing background. I have a marketing background, but I still enjoyed James’ challenge as it helped change my mindset from a teacher to a teacher-entrepreneur.
